The Presidency released a statement indicating that the purpose of the meeting was to draw quality investments to the island. Government Spokesman Constantinos Letymbiotis emphasized that American executives recognized the significant improvement in Cyprus’ global standing, especially in the United States, thanks to robust bilateral ties and recent agreements between the two nations.
Key sectors attracting attention from U.S. businesses included energy, shipping, tourism, finance, services, and infrastructure. The participants agreed to maintain close contact to foster ongoing collaboration in these areas.
