Midway through 2026, building material costs in Cyprus continued their gradual upward trajectory, propelled by noticeable price jumps in electrical supplies, plastic items, and aluminum.<\/p>\n

Data released by the Statistical Service of Cyprus (Cystat) indicates that the Construction Materials Price Index reached 123.00 points (base year 2021=100) in July 2026, representing a 3.33% annual increase compared to July 2025. On a month on month basis, costs rose by a modest 0.23% from June 2026.<\/p>\n

Over the first seven months of the year (January\u2013July 2026), total building supply inflation averaged 1.87% higher than the same period in 2025.<\/p>\n
