The announcement came during the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA)’s Annual General Meeting held on April 10, where the sector\u2019s resilience and strategic growth were in the spotlight.<\/p>\n
During the event, CIFA President Maria Panayiotou highlighted that more than 330 licensed investment entities are now active in Cyprus\u2014a testament to the country\u2019s strong reputation as a trusted, well-regulated EU jurisdiction for financial services.<\/p>\n
She credited this success to the collaborative efforts between public institutions and private stakeholders, combined with a stable legal framework that fosters investor trust and sustainable capital growth.<\/p>\n

CIFA\u2019s global visibility is also on the rise. Following a successful 2024 roadshow in Athens, the association plans to host targeted promotional events in both Germany and the Middle East, markets identified as strategically important for future growth.<\/p>\n
